Variety is deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and matriarch, Jody Reynolds. Jody was not only dedicated to Variety and the children of Iowa, she was also a powerful advocate for children across the globe. A worldwide community mourns the loss and celebrates the extraordinary life of this remarkable woman who devoted her life to make children’s lives better.

As stated by Rosalie Gallagher, "To know Jody was to love her. She exuded goodness and integrity in all of her endeavors. Her huge, magnificent smile with those curly red locks and freckles could capture an audience. Jody was strong but gentle. She believed her dear husband, Stan, and her children, Stan W, Suzanne, Erin, Brooks and Katherine were first in her life and then, Variety and the community were her next passions. Being of service was emblazed on Jody's forehead.

At such a sad time for all of us we must remember why we are so grief stricken. It's because our Jody had the biggest heart and love radiated from her every pore. Special people like Jody never leave us, they are indelibly engrained in our lives and forever in our hearts and thoughts."
